Joon was a resident of Vault 51.

Background[]

With 1-6 odds, Joon won 12 payouts at the betting machines in the vault's game room, the least of the seven recorded residents on a blackboard there.[1] A "death pool" set up in the vault also had $140 next to Joon's name.[2] Like every other dweller, Joon was killed in the fighting that eventually led to Reuben Gill being named overseer in 2078.[3]

Notes[]

Excluding Joel Chambers, there were two Vault 51 residents with J as a first initial - J. Holder and J. McGuire - though it is unknown which one was Joon.

Appearances[]

Joon is mentioned only in Fallout 76, introduced in the Nuclear Winter update.

Behind the scenes[]

Joon's name is a reference to Joon Choi, a concept artist at Bethesda Game Studios Dallas who worked on Fallout 76.
