Jangles was the monkey used in the filming of The Adventures of Captain Cosmos in October 2077.
Background[]
Jangles played the role of the similarly named Jangles the Moon Monkey, sidekick to Captain Cosmos. Input from Jangles' trainer to the series director stating that the monkey would need the largest of the backstage rooms for jungle gym equipment and playroom led to production difficulties with Captain Cosmos' own actor, Rod Stoddard.
Despite complaints from Rod, the decision to let Jangles have the larger room was validated by the director who advised that when Captain Cosmos playsets outsold Jangles the Moon Monkey toys, the decision could be reconsidered.[1][2][3]
