Harpoons are a type of ammunition in Fallout 76.
Characteristics[]
Used for the harpoon gun, the harpoons themselves are long, spear-like projectiles capable of impacting with significant force. Much like crossbow bolts, harpoons have a chance to be recovered from downed enemies. The shaft of the harpoons are smooth and the head comes to a shear point, completely lacking the barbs or toggling claws which were integral to their use in whaling. However, a modification for the harpoon gun (the only weapon utilizing harpoons) add barbs to its loaded projectiles.

With the Ammosmith perk or Ammo Factory legendary perk, the crafted amount of harpoons increase incrementally, coinciding with the perk's added percentages, crafting more harpoons for the same amount of materials.
