..that would improve gameplay experience. Patches/Add-Ons/Expansions maybe?

1. An awesome over-the-top pimp-looking house that doesn't take 3 loading screens to get to (hey, it's Vegas- and did you see Ultra-Luxe penthouse? Too bad it wasn't an option). Preferably one where you can reload ammo via a bench and make use of your survival skill in hardcore mode i.e. 'cook' option on stove. Also it would be nice if the companions hanging out there didn't eat your food and drink all your beer. Moochers.

2. Stop spinning me around whenever my companion makes a critical hit. Yeah, the cutscene looks cool. I don't mind seeing their sweet shots. I just don't wanted to be turned around every time it happens.

3. A huge armor/clothing variety is great, but why do I have to kill all the nice people to get their stuff? What, shops don't exist in the future Fallout universe? It's freaking Vegas, not some rusty cruiser, you would think a shop or two would exist somewhere.

4. Even though I have played through the game already, it would have been nice to see separated tabs for faction quests and side quests in the 'Quest' menu. Less confusing. FO3 didn't need this, the main quest was very straightforward. I like the variety in the New Vegas story, but flagging which quests were major decisions would have made it better.

5. Better music. Yes, keep the Country/Rat Pack music, just spice it up a little bit. Ever heard of rockabilly? Psychobilly? Those two country/rock-n-roll like genres would have been a nice addition to the in game music. Could have had a sweet theme song to blast people in the face to. And the DJ in FNV is a tad boring compared to FO3's Three Dog. Maybe he would have been a little more psyched about the voice acting if the music hadn't made him fall asleep.

And finally, quest breaking bugs and glitches are a major hazard. I didn't want to write this first because everyone knows (and is actively complaining) about them. These will get patched up soon, though, so it's almost unnecessary to talk about them.

If anyone can think of other small changes that would have enhanced (or possibly still can enhance) FNV's gameplay please add to this post. Interested in more opinions. Will be checking back.—Preceding comment was unsigned. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Well for number two just take it off in the options options menu and number three the are shops, there are many shops, but they're hardly gunna sell leigion or NCR aromur are they? It's only the fraction members who are allowed that stuff.JASPER//"Do you like hurting other people?"UserRichard 14:59, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

I was actually talking about Shabby Gambler, Dapple Gambler, Stylish Gambler, Well-Heeled, all the common clothes, settlers, caravaners, prostitute wear, the variety of hats etc. etc. etc. There are a ton! So I think you might have missed my point. No one expects faction armor to pop up in Vegas. Think back on the clothing shops from FO3, there were at least three right? Museum, Tenpenny, and Rivet City. And there is just way more clothing in FNV compared to FO3, which is awesome. And I know it's not a major deal to add a shop in game. Easy fix.

Thanks for the tip for #2, but again I like the cinematic kill scenes, just not the turning around part. So it's kind of impossible to keep one but not the other. At least on console.

You can't really figure out which quests are major decisions and which aren't? Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 15:50, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

Well, actually, yeah, I couldn't. And unless you bought the guide, just started playing (now that decent wiki pages are up), or went Wild Card, I bet you weren't sure either. Wild Card is self explanatory. House and Legion are less so. NCR is not. There are a lot of NCR quests that impact faction but are not a part of the main quest. Not so much in House or Legion. So yeah pretty hard to tell.

Oh! Luck increasing well, your luck, playing in casinos. This made gambling not even fun for crit chars. Too easy! I was hoping to enjoy a bit of gambling in FNV between blowing peoples brains out. 98.201.120.240 18:02, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
