Well I for one wouldn't be suprised if the player turned out to be Mr. House himself. Lets look at the reasoning for this.
1. Mr. House stays held up in his tower in Vagas, and no one has seen him for years. This would make it easy for you, the player, to actually be Mr. House and not be noticed by the people of the Wasteland.
2. You were wanted dead. Who WOULDN'T have something to gain by killing Mr. House, the leader of Vagas?
3.You, the player, are delivering something VASTLY important apparently. For something to be THAT important it must have something to do with the local power play in the area. And as they say, if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself.
I think that this story twist would prove disapointing, as it's been done and re-hashed before. This would be almost the exact same story line as Knigts Of The Old Republic (antother Bethesda game) in which the player turns out to really be the supervillain, only brainwashed to forget who he is. It would be interesting, but predictable. At least you arn't chasing daddy out of the Vault.
- No, House is not the Courier. They don't hire a voice actor for a character that turns out to be the player.
- This would apply to anyone. Not evidence.
- Just because people have something to gain from two people's deaths doesn't imply that those two people are actually one and the same.
- That saying doesn't typically apply to deliveries. Besides, we already know that the Courier was hired by Mojave Express to deliver the package.
