Addendum[]

External links[]

External sites contain information about the Fallout series that we want to preserve. If the site containing the information becomes defunct in the future, the information can still be accessed and verified via these archive links. This addendum proposes the addition of an external links subpage, providing instructions on how to format archived links.

This policy does not currently exist and if approved, would not replace an existing policy. Existing reference policies and addendums are provided at the top of this proposal for convenience. Two examples below outline the format proposed, illustrating the original link and archived link by color.

Looks good. I'm actually a little surprised this wasn't covered in our policies already. The Appalachian Mandalorian insignia 11:36, 8 March 2022 (UTC)

Yeah, preventing link-rot by archiving them should be a no-brainer by default. So it will be an easy yes, once this discussion is over and the vote comes.
