The fortune teller machines are two workshop and world objects in Fallout 76.

Characteristics[]

The machines come in two different versions, a male fortune wizard and a female fortune-teller. Of the two, only the wizard can be crafted, with the fortune-teller being a static world object.

The craftable version's case is composed of steel and wood. Its front side has money slots for both coins and bills next to a "10 $" label, as well as a dial with various symbols on it, which reflect good and bad luck. Above the dial are the crystal orb, the wizard automaton, and a "Fortune Wizard" sign.

Upon interacting with the machine, the wizard seemingly comes to life, with smoke rising behind him. He will then work his magic, and after he goes inactive again, will leave the player a random note and grant them a +2 increase to Luck for 30 minutes.

The non-craftable version comes in a wooden casing with black inlays. Its front side has money slots for both coins and bills, and a speaker in between. A glass case, with "Fortune Teller" written in red on all three sides, takes up the upper half of the machine; housing a dark blue orb, the static fortune-teller, two small lit lamps, and a red curtain. These machines cannot be interacted with.

Crafting[]

Crafting for the fortune wizard is unlocked upon reaching rank five during the fifth season or using Plan: Fortune teller machine. In the C.A.M.P building menu, the fortune teller machine is listed under the category labeled 'Floor Decor'.
