This indispensable guidebook contains everything that a survivor in the wasteland would need to know.— The guide's intro.

The Wasteland Survival Guide is a guidebook which contains invaluable information for wastelanders, ranging from locations where food and medicine may be found to details on the behavior of mirelurks, and much more.

Background[]

Word is that Moira Brown, the eccentric owner of Craterside Supply, is looking for assistance on a new project.Fallout 3 loading screen

Written and published by Moira Brown in 2277 with assistance by the Lone Wanderer, the guide saw distribution throughout the wasteland by travelers. The Lone Wanderer aided in the field research, while Moira Brown chose to handle all the printing and distribution herself, worried her assistant could be injured by the complex printing machines.

The book provides knowledge on how to survive the harsh wasteland and has been copied and distributed across the wastelands, and can even be found in settlements across the post-War United States. The book saw such success that as early as 2281, issues could be found in the Mojave Wasteland. By 2287, several successive issues had been published and could be found in the Commonwealth. By 2296, these issues could be found in New California being sold and read in Filly.[1]

There are very few links between F3 and F:NV. Including the WSG shows the wider impact and influence of the Lone Wanderer from F3 on the world."
