Sergeant Lee is a deceased Gunner in the Museum of Witchcraft in 2287.

Background[]

Sergeant Lee was a member of the squad commanded by Major Jefferies. Their squad was tasked with delivering a package from Lynn Woods to Wellingham in Diamond City. When they were near the Museum of Witchcraft, Lee repaired a holotape recorder which was then used by Private Hart. Unbeknownst to him, this package was a set of deathclaw eggs stolen from a nest near Lynn Woods. Jefferies and Hart soon discovered that the deathclaw whom the eggs had been stolen from was tracking them, and Jefferies ordered the squad to flee into the museum, telling Lee to take the package.^[1]

The deathclaw quickly killed Lee's squadmates, leaving him the last man alive, heavily wounded. By this time, he had found out about the package's contents: a dozen deathclaw eggs, with only one left intact by then. Lee regretted having helped steal the eggs, and briefly wondered if they could be forgiven by returning the eggs, before being found and killed by the deathclaw.^[2]

Notes[]

A location reference type for Lee's corpse, used in the scripting for The Devil's Due, names him as "Tick" rather than Lee.^[3]
Sergeant Lee, Private Hart, and Major Jefferies all have separate NPCs for their in-game corpses and their holotape voices, with unique appearances. Hart's corpse and holotape voice NPCs have the same appearance, but Lee's and Jefferies' do not.
Sergeant Lee's holotape voice NPC has the ShortName "Lee." This is unused, because holotapes in the Creation Kit use the Name parameter rather the ShortName to identify a speaker in subtitles.
