The deathclaw hand is a miscellaneous item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
It is a hand scavenged from a deathclaw corpse.
Locations[]
Deathclaws spawn only in specific locations, including but not limited to:
- In the deathclaw promontory, an unmarked area due east of the cliffside prospector camp.
- Quarry Junction, northwest of Sloan.
- Dead Wind Cavern (Additionally, it is the only location with the legendary deathclaw).
- Gypsum train yard
- Primm Pass
Notes[]
- Taking a deathclaw hand from a deathclaw corpse does not visibly remove either of the corpse's hands. When a deathclaw hand is harvested it is always the left, and yet the gauntlet is worn on the right arm.
- It is sometimes possible to take four hands from a single dead deathclaw.
