The Berkeley Springs Police Department was a city police force in West Virginia before the Great War.
Background[]
Serving the city of Berkeley Springs, the police department was involved in efforts to thwart the "Appalachian Assassin" who attempted terrorist activities in the region.[1] By utilization of their bomb disposal police protectron, codename Boomer, they were successful in disarming one such bomb close to a Berkeley Springs highway.[1] If Boomer is encountered near the Southern Belle Motel, it will conscript the Vault Dwellers into the police force to locate other explosive devices, citing law enforcement code D-4793.[2]
