Bears

Flag of the "Bears", the basketball team of D.B. Technical High School

Basketball was a sport played before the Great War.

Background[]

Basketball courts can be found in various locations throughout the Commonwealth and Appalachia, mostly in or near schools such as D.B. Technical High School, Malden Middle School, Grafton High School and Morgantown High School. An underground basketball court can be found in the Boston mayoral shelter. Basketball-themed attraction booths can be found at amusement parks such as Camden Park, Tyler County Fairgrounds and Wavy Willard's Water Park.

Basketball hoops can be built any player-owned settlements, and at C.A.M.P.s or public workshops if the corresponding plans have been learned.

A basketball-themed arcade game called "Hoop Shot" can be played in the Nuka-Cade in Nuka-World, and can be built at settlements. Hoop Shot also appears as a world object throughout Appalachia, although it cannot be interacted with.
