I made a list of all the places I wanted to see, but then the bombs fell and I guess now it's a bucket list, because I don't think I've got much time left.. Pretty sure the radiation will kill me before I get very far, but I'm going to try.Anne's holotape

Anne Litzinger, referred to as Anne in-game, is a deceased woman in Appalachia.

Background[]

Anne was a student at Vault-Tec University originally from San Francisco. At first, she dreaded the thought of interacting with people that she thought would be ignorant, backwater hillbillies. However, over time, she became more accepting of people from the area and realized that a person's birthplace does not always define them.

An aspiring photojournalist, she captured photos of tourism spots in Appalachia before dying to radiation sickness while visiting one after the Great War, never finishing her "bucket list" of sights to see.[1]

Anne Litzinger appears only in Fallout 76, introduced in the Wild Appalachia update.

Behind the scenes[]

  • Anne is a reference to Annie Leibovitz, a photographer known for her work capturing portraits of celebrities. Annie Leibovitz graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute, and Anne the character is from San Francisco.
  • Anne is voiced by Rachel Butera, who also voiced Shelley van Lowe and Trish in Wild Appalachia. In localized versions of the game, her voice is dubbed by Anni Sultany (German).
