Within the walls of this time capsule, you, our descendants, will find the items and mementos we treasured in the year 2077.— A pre-recorded message from Alyssa Park

Alyssa Park was the last elected mayor of Jamaica Plain before the Great War.

Background[]

As the last elected mayor of Jamaica Plain, Alyssa ran the city's budget into a deficit.[1] She not only apportioned the funds to repair the basement of the city hall,[2] although not the roof or plumbing,[3] but also used a significant amount for her pet project: The Treasures of Jamaica Plain, a time capsule designed to be opened in 2277, to remind their descendants of their place in history.[4]

This project consumed all the funds it could, taking up most of the basement. Marble floors and state of the art automated security systems were installed to guard the treasure.[5][3] The treasures consisted of Revolutionary War-era antiques, battlefield mementos, a journalist's life work and various donated baubles from Boston-area residents, businesses, and corporations. In the end, the exhibit was a disaster and very few visited.[6]

Notes[]

Alyssa is one of several voice-only NPCs who has a unique model for their holotape speaker NPC, as pictured in the infobox.

Appearances[]

Alyssa Park is mentioned only in Fallout 4.
