Allan Garrahan was the nephew of Vivian Garrahan, the CEO of Garrahan Mining Company.
Background[]
After losing all of his money due to poor investment choices, Allan was taken in by Vivian Garrahan and allowed to live at the Garrahan Estate in Appalachia. They did not give him a room, so he was forced to sleep on his cousin Bryce's couch.[1]
Eventually, Vivian got tired of his freeloading and handed off some prototype anti-robot technology originally intended for sabotaging Hornwright Industrial robots for him to get rid of, without much care for where it ended up.[2]
He was able to find a buyer for the tech in the form of "Mr. Wolf," who would later use the technology to set up a capture site for a modified Assaultron unit. Allan was suspicious of "Mr. Wolf" but decided not to ask questions after being paid. Mr. Wolf would give him the pseudonym "canary."[3]
