How much do you believe about what he says about his past
Sooooooooooooooooooooooo i finished the game. loved it but one thing onnnne tiny little thing deacon yes yes deacon in fallout 4 i think of all the permanant companions as family but ummmmmm i went for the Brotherhood of Steel ending so if you've played it you know what i mean
After Fallout 3 the Lone wanderer ( or Fawkes ) activates Project Purity. In Fallout 4 Deacon talks about how the Capitol Wasteland exports clean water. So that got me thinking, are there trees in Washington. It'd make sense. The clean water would enable trees and plants to grow in the area. Animals would also get smaller and less iradiated due to their water source being not irradiated. So that could mean the Capitol Wasteland could be a Capitol Paradise. Or is it still iradiated. Either way, the Republic of Dave is still the dominant force in the wasteland.

I finally decided to go with Deacon again. He already had some power armor and all that from an earlier time I took him with me.
I tried to talk to him to get him out of the armor, since I'm almost accustomed to going without it. All he says now is that he has second thoughts about giving me his 'recall code'. (I went into my chest of random papers and dug out the recall code, and I can't even read it. Unless its supposed to be like that.)
Is this a glitch? I can't really go back, the last save I had was a while ago.

People and citizens of the Commonwealth always joke about the Railroad, how they save toasters and liberate computer terminals but have you actually stopped to think whether or not they could cause a change to the Commonwealth?
Remember: Everyone's opinion is valued in this post. You can criticize, but there is a difference between criticism and calling someone out for their own beliefs. People are allowed to have there own opinions and beliefs, do not try and take it away from them.
In 4 Deacon often cracks jokes when you interact with him. By often I mean just a bit under all of his dialogue. Many of these jokes are also a bit meta as well, or reference other games in the series. However he's not the only one to do this. Veronica feels like she acts very similarly, except for you know, the lying addiction. I'm wondering if there's characters in the other games who act like this.
