Which isn't a problem when the Dragonborn has the power to slow or freeze time....
Fallout and Elder Scrolls are two super-powered worlds but in very different ways.
^ The SS has Jet and VATS
^Jet only enhances a person's reaction time, and VATS is aim assist. Time freezing by both is gameplay, not lore.
Let's put it like this:
The Sole Survivor (or any Fallout protagonist, really) has access to powered armor giving them the durability of a tank, high tech weaponry, and a plethora of performance enhancing drugs. Any of the Fallout PCs is, at their best, a walking army unit rolled into one person. Not considering plot armor they could still take on most well defended wastelander settlements on their own.
The Dragonborn, at their best, has access to armor and weapons that have been magically enchanted or blessed by literal gods to increase their durability, lethality, or proficiency. They also have access to magic themselves, which allows them to slow time, summon localize storms, become invisible, and even completely close off and heal any wounds they might suffer. They can summon dragons, interdimensional beings, and ressurect the dead to aid them. Or even cast spells to alter people's perceptions and make them crazy or calm. The Dragonborn can take on most well defended places in Mundus or the other dimensions in the TES universe on their lonesome.
Both of these characters are incredibly overpowered in their own settings, once again not considering plot armor or gameplay but the lore of the franchises. But if you put them up 1 vs 1 there is a very clear power bias towards the Dragonborn.
^How fast do spell take to conjure?
They take about 1-10 seconds depending on the spell
It takes barely a second to fire a .50 cal gun or a mini nuke, and even less for it to travel, not to mention that V.A.T.S. could help with crits
But the thing is you have to remember that the DB is a player too. They aren't a weak NPC. You have got to remember when the Dragonborn jumped of the highest mountain the country of Skyrim on a horse and survived. Also guns are not a factor, with the creation add on that adds Dwarven guns to Skyrim for some players guns aren't new or special. Also arrows are more deadly than a gun the only reason why we don't use them is because they are inefficient to move and make. Also besides a little radiation whats a fat man gonna do if the DB is a Dunmer
Yeah it depends on the spell. Different spells are acted out with either the intent to cast, hand signs, or verbal components. Spells cast with only intent are instantaneous, while hand signs and words it takes the time to complete/say them for the spell to take effect.
^^^Is this ignoring that guns require time to set up, load, and aim? Because if we're presuming in this fight every is primed to go at start, Dragonborn's spells would also be.
If this battle is not on Nirn then the Dragonborn won't have access to Magicka so no magic for them. This is only an assumption since they draw Magicka from their universe or world.
The only way this fight should go and only go is a steel dagger verse combat knife fight no other shit
Is this a one on one fight or does each get to bring a companion or summon/call in reinforcements?? Because that changes the dynamics.
What do you think?
