Lovin' the new stuff! The acacia tree textures look pretty awesome. One thing I found myself disliking though (and it may be just me) but I find your new tall grass to be lacking -- I think it looks too flat; compared to all your other textures it seems so plain. I really, really liked the old version that you had before you changed how the tall grass looked and I had hoped that the new double grass would be in the old style too.
Well the reason it's sorta flat is because I want it to blend in very, very well with the top grass (which IMO it does). I wanted it to be an extension of grass rather than a whole new block type of thing. I'm also rather fond of it so it's unlikely to be changing anytime soon as I think it's part of the unique style of this pack.
That being said, I will make a grass... 'add on pack' since we can now load multiple resource packs at once, it will only include a new grass type and you can load it alongside pixel perfection to replace the normal tall grass with a thinner, more.... grassy one.
Could you tell us about the CTM you've added in this update?
Erm, there are some new tall grass variants, I changed some old textures like the top of bookshelves into the new wood styles, new wood pressure plate, some netherbrick ctm and I also added a light and dark variant of the stone with full ctm, both are metadata's and are intended for use with world painter maps.
I also had to remove some things for the moment as the metadata I was using is now being used by a vanilla block (like with the new planks that were added) but I'll add them in again once I figure out a good metadata value to use or maybe just use a different block as the base.
Okay you wins and now I need to try out all ya new 1.7 goodness.
This is no ordinary sheep this sheep is a texture machine! This sheep is a SHEEPINATOR, half sheep half robot programmed to squeeze every ounce of detail into each small 16x16 square with such flare and thought
Hey man, I really love your pack, although to be perfectly honest, the item pickup sound is rather annoying, at least to me. Is there any way to turn that off? The other sounds are great though.

Open the resource pack and go "assets>minecraft>sounds>random" an then delete "pop.ogg"
Fantastic! I will use this as my server's recommended resource pack if I may! (If not I'll just tell everyone to download it).
The nether brick is fantastic. I love these kind of 16x packs like chivalry. I think you need to update the banners, they don't look as good as the screenshots and in game.
Thanks! And yea, I have no issues with this being used for servers or anything.
Also, I think that's a good idea about the banners too, I want to make one with a new style but I have no idea what style to go for! The current banner I'm using does have all the latest textures though, so I'm okay with it for the moment.
Reminds me that I need to finish off the glass ctm, still some weird shading on it...
EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention, but thanks everyone for all the love you've been showing the pack!
We're currently sitting at number 3 most monthly downloads on curse and still climbing. Thanks a lot you guys!
Okay, figured I would let you guys know what I'm working on now.
Right at the moment I'm working on two add-on packs for pixel perfection. First is going to be for grass and will contain a new tall grass and double tall grass texture with ctm. It's going to be a lot thinner and 'grassier' than the current one.
Second is going to be a glass pack that gets rid of the iron borders on the current stained glass and makes it more similar to default although using my colours. This is going to be for people who are making large windows with the stained glass. Will probably also include full CTM. (thanks to Rayvolution for the idea! Check out his pack here)
I'm just wondering, is it possible to change the in-game minecraft music? If so, have you ever tried it?
Hmmm, I'm not sure honestly. It's possible to change the other minecraft sounds so I don't see why not unless the music files are stored in a different location or are hardcoded.
Don't think I would replace the music though, it's one of the things that makes minecraft.... minecraft.
This is a really great texturepack. It really fits the mood of Minecraft quite well.
Thanks, I tried to keep somewhat similar to the minecraft theme. I'm going to go a bit crazy on the mobs though (more than I already have anyway) so they might get the items they drop renamed too. Terrain will still be very recognizable though!
Next is cleaning up the furnace texture a little, then onto redstone dust and the redstone block (I'm going to get rid of the shine/sparkle on the redstone block and make something more matte coloured but also more decorative)

I won't be changing the music, it's too minecrafty to change.
Plus I have no songs to replace it with and also as you said, textures definitely come first!
Just mob textures. Horses, nether stuff and the dragon are all that are left IIRC. Then I'll be moving onto mob support I suppose!
