Highly recommend

The tech was late, but understood as he had multiple jobs on the same day. He was friendly, knowledgeable, walked us through every install and position for cameras and made suggestions and recommendations. I would recommend that the customer get an itemized copy of all of the devices and cost per device and what that equals per month if being financed. I have had a hard time gaining this specific information. Cameras are great, so far system is working perfectly! Would highly recommend

The overall system has not met my…

The overall system has not met my expectations. After initial service was scheduled, it took two different technicians on separate occasions to finish install. The app no longer allows me or my wife to change the ac or lock the door via the app like we were able to do for the first few days. At least the alarm does work but I was hoping for better than adt and that's not what we've been experiencing.

Positive experience with great men and company

The Regional Manager Bridger Dallimore and Service Tech Patrick made it great. They walk me and my family through the process and presented with great respect and was very humble and honest. They sold the Vivint products well. I think because of great team that have great customer service skills and are oriented culturally can provide more great opportunities to sell the products creating a positive atmosphere. I think is something that Vivint is doing right. I believe that these men and their team that came out deserve raises or bonuses they work hard to ensure the safety of my family and I. I don’t know the other gentleman’s that came but the most respectful men. I have been lied to before with products and so far things have been spot on.

Technician was wonderful

Technician was wonderful. Professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately on the other side of things, it’s been a few weeks and no one has been scheduled to come take doorbell camera off and take it back. It was ordered to have been done so a few weeks ago and I’m afraid I’ll be charged for it. Cameras seem to go online and offline a lot and log me out the system when I’m not at home which is why we got a home security system in the first place. Unsure if I will keep the service.

great security system

I really love how easy the system is, with very clear cameras, even picking up details on my car keys. I also appreciate that everything is hardwired in so I don't need to keep replacing batteries. I was happy Richard suggested some glass break monitors which increased security a lot. He installed everything quickly and effectively, and explained everything very well. I actually set the alarm off once by mistake the first few days after installation, and an attendant immediately called me. Thank you vivant; this place is an armored vault-LOL

Unpleasant experience from purchase to installation

Purchasing experience was very awkward and uncomfortable. The initial setup was Horrible! Hardly anything installed worked. Wires showing or hanging loose. Wasn’t shown how to use the system. Second's setup was better, but all the sensors are still not working. Still waiting for a backplate to be installed underneath the doorbell camera.

Customer service with a smile

The gentlemen that I interacted with were so friendly sweet and helpful. They were patient and answered all of my and my husband's questions. The tech, Tim was just as sweet and nice as can be. He explained his process, was thoughtful, swept up any mess he made, and went over everything when he was done. Highly recommend

My experience with Vivint was great…

My experience with Vivint was great because they gave me a lot of information upfront, but broke it down so I would understand it and my sales person was very friendly and helpful. The installation person was also very quick yet did a wonderful job and was very personable. They also got it done in record time, Fastest I’ve ever dealt with a company from sale to installation! I don’t have anything negative to say about them. I am very satisfied with my overall experience and love the products I got!

Do at your own risk

The sales kid is a liar, the installers are highly incompetent and after they sign you up for a credit card that they damn near max out upon your approval which will tank your credit, they then provide horrible customer service. Worst experience of any “home service” I’ve ever had and an absolute scam. Stay clear. The only saving grace of this place are the true Vivint techs. The contracted installers butcher everything and the Vivint techs have to fix it. Vivint needs to do better.

I am still waiting for a window alarm…

I am still waiting for a window alarm to be installed that was missed (almost 2 weeks since installation). My system does not recognize my voice controls so it won't turn lights on and off using Alexa or Google, lock and un-luck doors, etc. My rear and front cameras with floodlights only turn on when directly in front of them, not over the entire perimeter area I set up.

Asked for another camera needed light…

Asked for another camera needed light for door said they were coming out in 2 days to install to this date no one has came out. Alarm went off police never showed up alarm system is useless I wished I never ordered waste of time and resources

Bayron

Bayron, our installer made it great. He was on time, discussed what we wanted and needed. Gave us the prices since we paid in full for the equipment. When all settled, he went straight to work. Then after the install, he explained how everything operated several times to make sure we understood. We never had a security system like this one before. At the end, he went over the equipment again and the pricing. It was a perfect experience! The equipment seems to be working fine and my pets are getting used to the sounds. We love the cameras and voice alerts. All in all, it was a very good experience.

A buyer beware

The installation was fine, but since adding certain products (AC controller) it has been harder and harder to get and stay cool in the house. Not sure if it’s bad equipment or just poor control options, but this far, not overly impressed with this services.

I love using Vivint

I love using Vivint. It’s great to track who’s coming and going at the office, and the picture/video is very clear.
I like each user having their own code. Customer service was helpful setting up and troubleshooting. We got one phone call about glass breaking, but it was just a sign falling off the wall. Overall, very satisfied.

Terrible customer service, This company doesn’t care about you

Terrible customer service, manipulative sales tactics. Did not respond to my cancellation requests or confirm their receipt within the 3 day business time frame. I’m still receiving statements from their credit line associate- have they even informed them that my service has been canceled and the equipment returned? All they care about is making a sale and then they could care less about following through. This company will tank bc word will get out and no one will want their business.

Service installer Chris did a phenomenal job and was very thorough going over the use of the system. There was a malfunction with one of the cameras and he returned a few days later and corrected the issue.

Zero stars if possible

Zero stars if possible. Salesman is terrible, detectors defective, and I’m stuck with this contract now and can’t cancel even though this company is garbage. You’re welcome for my money and I will never recommend you to anyway ever.

After purchase don't expect prompt response or any at all.

Since day one our doorbell and console have stopped working. This requires a restart every time. When doorbell stops working it randomly rings or buzzes. Contacted our rep but no one has shown up to fix our issues and now our three day grace period is up. Figures as I've had Vivint before, never should have installed it again. I bought into the salesman's line that the equipment has gotten better.

Themselves Mr. Aaron

Tech was great, hidden wire. I know this isn't important, but we can changethe doorbell settings for each season. Tech even came out again no charge for rewiring older home 1972 for kids
