I learned about Incogni through a colleague of mine, who stated that he was surprised about how many different data brokers had data about him.
Just out of curiosity, I created an Incogni account as well. And yes, my data is in the grasps of those data brokers as well. And why would I allow them to make a profit out of my private information?

Very satisfied with the way that Incogni is giving me an oversight of who/where my personal data is, and the automated process of removing it, and during the removal I can see how it’s going.

Very insightful! Who knew I had so many companies that had my information?! The spam calls were getting ridiculous! After hearing a recommendation about incogni, I decided to look it up, and for the price, I figured it was worth a try. So far there has been a decrease in spam calls, and it’s so cool I can track the progress of what data brokers Incogni has stopped, and which ones they’re still working on! Definitely recommend!

My experience with Incogni has been great. It’s good to know that this program is working for me, even when I’m not aware. It helps me feel safer knowing my information isn’t floating around hither, thither and yon because Incogni is watching out for me.

Incogni has successfully petitioned many data brokers used by corporate entities to remove my PII from their respective databases. As such, I now get less spam e-mail, phone calls, and paper postal mail.

Incogni has the ability to find places where your information has been sold through mailing lists etc and request the removal of that information on your behalf. I had no idea just how many places my information had been sold to. I am so glad to know that my name, email, and more are all removed now and the drop in spam emails and annoying calls is great!!!

Service has decreased a significant amount of unwanted texts and emails. Still have Way Too Many political texts and hope those can eventually be disabled as well.

I sincerely hope this service will work. Have been spammed for several years now after a 'reputable' hardware manufacturer leaked all their customer data (including mine).
Since then I have been terrorized dozens and dozens of times through e-mail, phone and regular mail. Sometimes scammers called me 10-12 times a day! Super annoying.

I attempted to cancel my subscription but was unsuccessful (though I believed I had cancelled it). They refused to refund me and were overall dismissive of the fact that their service has only one automated cancel option. It comes in *the day before they charge you*.

Knowing that they care and send me periodic text on how i am doing and what is going on makes all the difference. I am going to get my husband to sign up. We are both in our 80’s and this new world is difficult to understand at our age. We have no children young enough to help us so I thank them for their continued support.

In all honesty, I though my phone broke... Really! All the sudden I was receiving NOTHING, which only proved that all I was constantly getting, was 99.98% annoying, and irritating crap wasting my battery and bothering everyone with buzzing, blinking, or by some other needless battery hogging annoyance.

This is a situation akin to a frog in a pot of water coming up to boil.. The slow creep of that dark stain is slow enough not to notice right off, but then becomes unstoppable and overwhelming soon. One simply isn't aware of how heavy their attack is, until it stops... And, "Incognito" takes a sharp ax to their grappling lines in a hurry! The relief from the onslaught of those predator buzzards almost has a physical recoil. One notices "All of the Sudden. . .", The sweet, deafening sound of SILENCE again! I can actually have a conversation without being interrupted by another used vacuum cleaner salesman. `Just TOO Cool!

I decided to try Incogni after relentless spam calls and text messages.
When I signed up I noticed a difference in just a couple days. I barley get a spam text, call and even noticed a decrease in spam emails.

My year subscription is due to be renewed tomorrow. In a whole year they have sent out 76 requests and 67 have been removed (and I will note some providers have now removed my data twice). After a year there are still 9 providers that have given the process the middle finger, and I imagine these hold out providers are where the complying repeat providers sourced their info from.
So because there is no guarantee any of the providers have to comply and if only one refuses, then your data is back on everyone's list as soon as you stop paying.
Without any guarantees that all the providers will comply this subscription is worthless.
If I can find the unsubscribe button I will be taking advantage of that.
Perhaps a detailed response from incogni on how to do that would be helpful.
Do I recommend?
No... Likely it was a waste of my money and soon all the providers will have my information again from the hold out providers.
