horrible customer support

horrible customer support, i bought unlimited data esim for japan and it states that after 50GB the speed will be capped. After 1.6GB i got capped and it was unusable. So i wrote to the support. It took them 2 business days to respond and they just sent me instructions and said that it's not capped. Ookla speed test always gives me speed of 0.51Mbps so it is actually capped. they are not giving refund either. don't use GlobalYO.

Ok when it works. But any problems and it is very difficult to solve.

I have recently bought a few esims from them and some have worked well. I have however had a few problems.

Today has been very frustrating. I bought one esim yesterday which worked fine. Today I went into the app and bought a top up but as soon as I did the esim stopped working. Thr remaining data and time disappeared from the app. And the top up is not working either. The original esim is dead and I even tried to install the top up and it is not working.

The customer service is terrible. It is slow. Goes round in circles and it has still not been sorted out.

Very frustrating and annoying.

I have now emailed their support. Let's see what happens.

I originally loved the interface, app and concept. But the basics need to work and there needs to be a quality customer service behind it all.

Very unhappy at the moment.

Needs work

Positives:
Good price for eSIMs

Negatives:
UX is junk, main page has many useless functions.
Really only need current SIMs and SIM market buttons only.

No notification when your SIM is running low on data to top up.
If it runs out you just lose your connection and you can’t buy a new one till you get connected again.

Don't trust them. Tried to use them in 3 different Asian country, none worked

Useless. Customer service takes ages to reply.

Tried to use them in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Bought separate plans for each and tried a full asian package, none of them seems to be able to connect to any of the providers.

Save yourself the frustration and just buy a SIM card

Excellent Coverage in Europe traveled…

Excellent Coverage in Europe traveled through France J Germany, and Italy, and the Global YO eSIM provided excellent coverage in all three countries. No need to switch SIM cards or worry about finding Wi-Fi. This eSIM made my trip so much easier!

Reliable and Fast

Reliable and Fast! Used Global YO eSIM in South Korea, and the data speed was consistently high. Even in remote areas J had no issues with connectivity. Very satisfied with the service and would definitely use it again.

I have traveled around the world and…

I have traveled around the world and always used eSIM without any issues—until I encountered this provider. They are the worst: slow, expensive, and unresponsive. I chose them only because they were the first result on Google search, and I trusted them. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a waste of money. I might consider requesting a chargeback if I find the time.

Customer support doesn’t respond on any platform and ignores all my attempts to contact them. This experience happened when I went to Egypt.

Data lasts as long as they say, perfect for vido call

I have certainly tried several eSIMs, but none like this one. Excellent for travelling. Their app has free content that accompanies you when you travel. Most importantly, excellent coverage. I highly recommend it, other eSIMs eat up data very quickly and this one no. This one lasts as long as they say it does. I recently travelled to Bali and made video calls in absolute comfort. With other companies what happened to me was that the data ran out quickly with a simple call.

Perfect for frequent travelers

As someone who travels often for work, the global YO eSIM has been indispensable. It provided reliable and connectivity across multiple countries, and I never had to worry about switching SIM cards. Highly Recommended for business travelers!

Easy Setup

Easy Setup, Great Value! The setup for Global YO eSIM was straightforward and hassle-free. Used it in both Australia and New Zealand with no problems at all. The Service is great value for money and made my travel experience much smoother.

Global Yo provides me a good internet service connection as expected.

It didn’t work, customer support terrible

You should use another company for your esim.

Quick Support for Minor Issue

Quick Support for Minor Issue! Initially, Ihad trouble activating the eSIM but the customer support team was incredibly responsive and resolved it within minutes. After that the service was perfect throughout my trip to Japan. Great product and excellent support!

All is well that ends well …

I wrote a review for not getting QR code for installation. It took me quite
Some time to persue the case but ultimately I got code and I have enabled it.
I am writing this review to inform that through our the miserable period you helpline kept contact and always replied to my emails and though late but ultimately sent me QR code through email. Mr Henry understood my problem and explained technical problems and agreed to refund. Ultimately they sent me QR code through email against their normal procedures.

Horrible!

Purchased 2 eSIMs and neither would even install! I’ve used dozens of different ones in the past and never had this issue except for with this company! Tried everything! Even went to customer service and nothing!

Edit: you can’t have looked that far because I’ve contacted your customer support numerous times over the last couple months. I ended up receiving a refund for only one eSIM because they said the other had been used but that isn’t possible because neither had even been installed.
