where are you loan officer...went awol or something?

While initially there were a lot of phone calls from this company to secure our loan and get us as customers...once our rate locked no phone call, no call backs....the loan officer who called me 3 times a day is gone...she never answers the phone or calls back even after scheduling a call with her though their website. So only respite is to call their customer service directly everytime

Refi- loan

Robert L. ( Loan Officer) and Brieauna W. (Senior Processor) got things done quickly and I was able to close and got funded within 30 days! Super happy with the job that they did.
Robert was always available to answer questions and provided guidance through out the process.
Brieauna was very professional and kept us updated during the process.
Better.com ‘s portal was extremely efficient and easy to navigate to upload required documents.

Extraordinarily Positive Experience

We decided to give Better.com a chance after a brief web search as we needed to secure a lender (aggregator) that could work efficiently for us as our home buying plans would almost certainly be done while on a 5,000 mile journey. We began my placing a call and explaining our situation and needs. In less than 15 minutes, we had established an account and were able to generate the much needed “Loan Approval Letter” that would spearhead our efforts to secure and close on a home. That was mid May. After unsuccessfully bidding on one particular home, we found another better home on June 17. This was the day we reached back out to our loan manager to alert him that a contract may be imminent. Today is July 22 AND WE JUST CLOSED!!! To our delight, this entire process, including ordering and executing the appraisal and home inspection as well as processing all the paperwork required by underwriting, took basically ONE MONTH!!! This is unheard of speed and efficiency. We have nothing but the highest of praise for Justin No and Izaak Kasimov for their roles in making this happen. The entire experience exuded professionalism and military precision and efficiency. Fans for life!

Quick and stress-free loan process

The loan processing was fully digitized and the interface easy to use. The team was super efficient and provided updates every step of the way. Closed loan in 8 business days and the funds were accessible in 2 business days. I was very pleased with the service.

We needed to take out a Heloc loan to…

We needed to take out a Heloc loan to remodel our home and we were nervous about the process. Better Mortgage helped us through the process and were quick to fund. Our loan coordinator Chris Kmec was amazing and reached out to us when we had any questions and to update us on the status of the loan. Would definitely recommend Better Mortgage for your loan needs.

Great expereince

The team, from the Loan Officer to the Processor, was great. They were timely and knowledgeable. The process went well and closed as expected. The rates and fees were good as well. I will recommend Better to others.

Overall Very Pleased

Overall very pleased with my experience. Great communication, prompt responses to my questions, and a transparent list of tasks remaining to close the loan. Mortgage rate was excellent too. However, my only complaint was that I requested a float down well in advance because rates had dropped but was told suddenly that it was 'too late' in the application process to make any adjustments after they continued processing my loan anyway. But again the original rate was great. I would not hesitate to use Better again or recommend them to anyone.

From the beginning of the process…

From the beginning of the process Jackie was great, and he informed me of the full process. Julie was incredible and kept me informed the entire way. As for the entire experience and everyone I spoke with, I would highly recommend Better Mortgage. During my closing, the notary was great and explained everything. Overall the experience was fenominal. Thank you all

Should avoid, Too many problems, errors to cover

Literally too many problems, errors to cover. They had all initial docs within 12 hrs of request. Told all looks great. Purchased over 30 properties over the years. Never had a more disorganized, constant changing financial numbers, changing requirements. With only a week or so before closing they required new, completely different documents impossible to attain before closing.

Everything went extremely smooth

Everything went extremely smooth. They had all the technology that I was able to show my equity in my home and upload all of my home photos to which helped us avoid an appraisal. The people working on my application, underwriting and closing were extremely responsive and helpful!

Great experience: Second time using Better

This is my second loan through Better.com. I was fortunate enough to be assigned to Kamaria who was so pleasant to deal with over the phone, but also was incredibly compassionate and understanding. The process of purchasing a home is stressful and I felt like Kamaria really made me confident that everything is in good hands and will be taken care of quickly. She has consistently been super fast and professional. I really have enjoyed working with everyone at Better Mortgage, and Kamaria was just icing on the cake. Thank you to everyone who has been working with me.

Quick and Easy Process but be an Informed Consumer

The staff at all levels were highly professional and knowledgeable about the company's products. The process seemed quick (30-45 days). However, the application seemed to require considerable amount of repetitive data entry on my part as a consumer.

Switched to Better only two weeks…

Switched to Better only two weeks before closing and we were able to close on time! Better gave me the best rate of the market. Sanam Parwani with her team did an astonishing job, they were working with me everyday to make sure everything was in place. I’ll definitely work with them in the future!

Better is an understatement

I had 2 main representatives who remained constant with communication and updates. Alex and Chantel were a dream to work with. I prefer written exchanges, and they were more than accommodating with emails and texts. When I didn't respond in time, they would follow up with calls. The website is so ideal for managing the loan process. Rates are visible to you with all the possible dollar amounts. I changed the rate that caused my payment to go higher, and Alex called me right away to confirm I meant to do that. Uploading docs was easy and they are reviewed promptly, with notes added for any updates needed. They have tasks that prompt what to work on next, and follow up emails for items not completed. I wish all transactions were streamlined like Better Mortgage.

Best refinance experience

I had great experience with Better Mortgage when I refinance my home mortgage in April. I mostly worked with the loan coordinator Kamaria and she was so knowledgeable and kind. My loan application was a little complicated because it involved my investment property but Kamaria took care of it. I was really impressed. She is by far the best loan coordinator that I have worked with. BTW, I also liked the online based application process offered by Better Mortgage.

Casey was perfect in initiating the…

Casey was perfect in initiating the loan and getting it to the next stage, he was very helpful answering questions and seeking action when I needed help. Rosa presents as a new employee, not confident in the process and appears to have communication deficits. There were points where under strict time limitations she did not communicate effectively with the escrow office sending documents to an unverified email address, and instead of communicating with escrow I had to call both sides to get any action. Documents were sent late, funding was not smooth. Could have been a lot less stressful experience.
