I purchased the bar stool chairs with a seat back. The quality is good, but the design is poor. The seat back is too far forward so it tends to push you off the chair, and there is no adjustment. My plan is to disassemble the seat back and modify it in a manner that will make it comfortable to sit in.... because as delivered, the chairs are not comfortable at all.

The chairs are exactly what I wanted. VERY comfortable. I worked with Brad Pinsler who answered my questions quickly and helped me get just what I wanted. I love REAL mid century furniture, but these replicas go perfectly with my vintage diner table. Don't hesitate -- these are the real deal!

After placing order I received a call, the representative was concerned about the color choice made he felt it wouldn't be what I would like. After agreeing, the chairs were exactly what I wanted. I appreciate the concern and saved me from having something I wouldn't be happy with.
Also pleased with the time it took for them to arrive.

Very nice people that send free samples so you can match your colors with certainty. I Ordered bar stools that arrived 2 weeks earlier than anticipated which was a big plus. Had a small problem with the order but customer service took care of it asap.

Brad was responsive, patient in explaining my choices and just overall really professional.

I can't recommend this company highly enough! I was uncertain about which color to use and they mailed me a couple of rounds of samples until we found the right one. Customer service was amazing and the bar stools are absolute perfection. Such wonderful quality. Extremely sturdy and very comfortable. I couldn't be happier with my investment!

I own a sweet little mid century modern home in Florida near the beach and was looking for a 50's dining set made in America. I couldn't be happier with the results! I was sent samples of both the formica patterns and leather chair options and chose colors reflective of the shells and the sea. I reached out to Stacey to ask her opinion on color combinations that were right on track. When the tabletop developed some 'mystery spots' that I could not remove Brad sent a local formica representative to the house providing prompt resolution. The table and chairs are of high quality and very well made. I would not hesitate to recommend this company or their product.

I waited a long time(few years) to place my order for a custom diner table and chair set due to changes happening in my personal life. I was drooling over the options available for a long long time and wanted them so badly so when I actually got them I was so thrilled!!!! Not only did I receive the chairs earlier than expected they looked amazing! When I received the table it was very well packaged and had a safe journey. I am so grateful that I was able to fulfill my order and that it turned out to be everything I hoped for and more! I love them so much!!

So the original ordered color laminate was not available but unfortunately the replacement color was used to make the table. We unfortunately did not get notified. Once we talked with Brad he made it completely right even to the point of asking us to donate the first table to charity since return shipping was impractical. Great company and people to deal with.

Excellent experience. Brad, our sales rep, was easy to work with, very responsive, and provided all the information and samples we needed to build our perfect bar stool. Our custom order was delivered on the early side of the promised time frame. The bar stools are of very high quality and look fantastic.

What a fantastic business! I placed a very small order--two diner booths and one table--and was afraid it would be too minor for American Chairs to pay much attention to it.
