Build a Product for Creators

If you’d like to build a service or tool that is useful to the entire Patreon creator community, you’ll want to use our OAuth System. The process is the same as building for individual creators. The primary difference is how you handle the incoming data on your server.

Here are the basic steps:

1. Register a Client

2. Follow our instructions to implement OAuth

3. Configure the architecture of your app to reflect the creator/member relationship. There is no single way of implementing these relationships; what they have in common is a data model that links creators to members using pledges.

4. Please contact us in the developers forum to request the ability to access multiple creator campaigns (learn more in our documentation).

5. Submit your app to be featured in our app directory
