Have you gotten behind the wheel of an EV? I always love seeing people’s initial reactions to our new products and technology. What’s even better? When it’s a member of the General Motors’ team. 🚗 Last month about 100 of our GM team members had a chance to take a spin in the all-new Equinox EV that’s just beginning to ship to customers, here’s what we heard: 1️⃣ Fun to drive: EVs deliver power instantly. The responsiveness of the vehicle was impressive, making driving feel effortless and agile. 2️⃣ Game-changing tech: The modern interior, touchscreen interface and advance driver-assist features are amazing. The first time you take your hands off the wheel to experience Super Cruise is a little scary. After a few minutes of using, it takes a lot of stress out of driving and is easy to see why customers who have it, love it and want it in their next vehicle, too. 3️⃣ Range Anxiety? Not Anymore: A common concern before driving an EV is range anxiety, but the Equinox EV has 315+ miles of range and with advancements in battery technology and expanding charging infrastructure, range anxiety is becoming less and less of an issue.   Thanks again, Gina, for giving us a peek into your experience. I can’t wait to see more Equinox EVs on the road soon!⚡

I am fortunate to have been be chosen to drive it around California & Nevada for a week in February. It was amazing going through the Sierra Nevada Mountains in a snow storm! Traction control was perfectly calibrated and we never experienced anything concerning while climbing to very high elevations. Even better, the battery didn't lose charge at the cold temps and high elevations. When we descended to Carson City, we gained back power to the battery and ended up with more SoC than what Google maps said we would have when we made it to our destination.

I am employee of the Ultium cells /gm collaboration.. we as employees are an important part of the ev movement...it's to bad we are not given the same treatment as the rest of gm ..We deserve all that gm has to offer ...not bits and pieces...

So it gets range of only 315+ miles? That’s about half way to my son’s home. So how many hours do I have to sit at a charging station half way to our destination waiting for the battery to charge so we can complete our trip on the same day? Takes 10 minutes to gas up and be on our way.

Awesome product

Nope, nope, and nope. Not doing electric vehicles as they’ve become to politisized, sticking with my diesel truck. Can’t stand touch screen controls in A car. I Like the tactile feel of real buttons so I can keep key eyes on the road, where they belong. Never going to do hands free either. I trust my judgment and experience over any EE or software engineer. Personally if the OEM’s want to keep pushing them then they need to be held fully liable for any accidents while the system is on and for an addition 20-30 seconds after it’s deactivated (give the human driver a chance to assess the situation and get out of the bind the EE & software engineers put them in).

On 5/21 I got the opportunity to test drive a “Tiffany” blue Cadillac Lyriq and I can’t stop talking about it. If I had to sum it up in, it was an AWESOME, driving experience 💙👑
