From attending #WWC24 as part of the sponsor team, to volunteering as a stage host, to now attending it as a regular attendee, i've loved every version of the experience. This time around, I went with the lens of a founder and I was very happy with the networking opportunities, talks that help me keep up with what is going on in the tech world and meeting with new startups that are making their mark in tech. As a founder, you are constantly looking for tools that can help you build your product faster as well as any offers or #freebies to try out new developer tools. Here's a list of some cool tools that I came across at #WADWorldCongress24 that have an offer or a free tier to try out. 🏷 Locofy.ai which is a plugin to convert your designs into code with just one click has a free beta that you can try out. https://lnkd.in/eyFTvfGY 🏷 Docker, Inc launched buildcloud that lets you build your docker images on their cloud with unbelievable speed and is offering 50 minutes of build time for free. dockr.ly/4dbsbFp 🏷 Valkey which is the #opensource version of Redis when Redis decided to change their licenses. 🏷 NVIDIA is offering free courses like building RAG Agents with #LLMs. They also have a program called NVIDIA Inception which has many perks for #startups https://lnkd.in/e6xEm9AY https://lnkd.in/ervMR9sA 🏷 Intel Corporation has a program called Intel Liftoff where they provide startups with resources and compute time. https://lnkd.in/ehppRfSV Thank you Eugenie Wirz 🇺🇦 for the ticket and thank you Christian Heilmann 👀 for yet another amazing #wearedevs event. #startups #perks #developerconference #devs

We’re guilty… We decided to jump onto the Locofy.ai bandwagon. But before doing so, we asked Kamil Stawski, our Frontend Developer, to give it a shot. ⚡ This is what he came back with... He started by using a raw Figma design and optimized it Locofy conversion: - Removed unnecessary groupings and applied auto layout - Tagged elements for easy identification and manipulation - Added actions And the results were not as he expected. Locofy.ai delivered! However, as much as AI can be useful, it did have some errors. We had to make some manual tweaks such as custom fonts, specific animations, and some UI fine-tuning. Final conclusion? Locofy.ai is a great tool if you want to increase the speed in the web development workflow for static pages, CMS pages, design systems, and complex UIs. 🎨

You might have the greatest idea in the world but if it takes you ages to bring it to the market, you’ll lose to a worse idea – just one with better timing. A few years ago Clayton Christensen dropped a bombshell on the business world: out of 30,000 apps launched each year, 95% fail. Does that mean you should give up on your hot idea? Not necessarily. One key success factor is how quickly you can bring your app to the market. Start collecting feedback from customers and iterate based on what the market wants. Why is reducing time to market crucial? 1. Cutting the time to launch means fewer companies to fight for user attention. 2. The sooner you launch, the earlier you’ll see a return on investment. 3. Tech enthusiasts can provide valuable feedback to improve your product. 4. Being early with a high-quality product helps you stand out. But there are three factors that influence TTM: Product complexity, resource availability, and regulations. Here are 7 ways you can reduce TTM: 1. Work with a skilled team to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) quickly. Focus on market research and user feedback to ensure you’re on the right track. 2. Utilize AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Locofy.ai to suggest code, catch bugs, and optimize designs. 3. Use a single codebase for multiple operating systems to save time and resources. 4. Use low-code/no-code for rapid prototyping and iteration, which reduces development time by over 50%. 5. Implement Agile methodologies to deliver products iteratively and respond quickly to customer feedback. 6. Optimize workflows with detailed documentation, clear timelines, and transparent communication. 7. Swiftly add necessary talent to your project on a temporary basis. By leveraging these strategies, you can bring innovative products to market faster and more efficiently. Remember, it's better done than perfect – focus on speed and iterate later. https://lnkd.in/dt7GYx8r
