CIN7 Core Software is 3 out 5 but…

CIN7 Core Software is 3 out 5 but support is -5 out of 5. Their support is disgraceful and an absolute joke.
I'm based in Australia we reported a high priority problem on 19 July which is directly impacting our revenue and 11 employees and they took over 59 hours to respond and now its 80 hours later we can barely get any further updates even though they said this morning its been escalated.

We are unable to do stock transfers

We are unable to do stock transfers, which is critical to our delivery and invoicing. We utilise individualized serial numbers per item.
We have been using this feature since the early Dear years without a problem.is there is a system hitch.
We have lodged a support request and been issued a ticket-absolutely no response or assistance. This is very urgent

43% price increase over 2 years

Cin7 is unashamedly extorting its customers.
Below are the subscription increases that have been imposed.

Total price increase over 2 years 43%
Year 1 price increase 24%
Year 2 price increase 19%

My concerns are with the never ending extortionate annual price increases, not with usability.
The fact that you say that I should be appreciative to use your platform for £17 per day demonstrates how little attention you gave to addressing the concerns I raised. You have given me no comfort that these massive price increases will stop or deminish in the future and have left me no alternative but to run fast towrads an alternative platform.

Dishonest company with poor customer service

This is a terrible company. Find a different inventory solution. After 3 years of using their software and paying monthly, our company no longer needs their services. I cancelled 2 days prior to our monthly due date and they still are charging me the monthly fee. Their Terms of Service make no mention of needing at least 10 days to cancel (which is what an email customer service rep told me) - in fact, their terms of service merely state that a monthly subscription can be cancelled before the renewal date. They are dishonest and have lousy customer service. I will never use them again.

Sharon, we’re disappointed to hear you have had a bad experience with Cin7 and our support team. Unfortunately, our terms of use state that 30 days notice of termination is required. "Thereafter, this Agreement will renew for additional annual periods; provided that either party may terminate this Agreement by giving notice to the other party at least 30 days before the end of the relevant Annual Subscription or Monthly Subscription payment period. . . Monthly Subscriptions may be cancelled prior to monthly renewals. If you cancel your Monthly Subscription, you shall be liable to pay all relevant Access Fees for each remaining day of the then current Monthly Subscription (for purposes of clarity, this includes the 30 day notice period referenced above).” If you wish to discuss any further feedback please email feedback@cin7.com and we will review.

The help desk is the worst I have ever…

The help desk is the worst I have ever had to deal with in my 40 years of working. They are beyond useless. The system itself is fine - does what all systems can do. But god forbid you have anything that you can't figure out on your own and need the help desk for. Every single time I am forced to contact them, I look at other systems. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I have never actually gotten help or an answer from them. The one area I find that need a total overhaul - the help desk. You do not get an iota of help as an existing customer. Seriously....terrible. Beyond bad. This is the primary reason I would tell you never to sign up with Cin7Core is 100% attributed to their "Help" - actually, no help, desk.

Start Listening to your customers

Originally a great company to deal with, now they flick their customers the middle finger and make endless silly changes, almost impossible to get sensible answers from customer services who have zero understanding about the system they are representing.
When it works its great , but it is almost like a daily lottery when you login wondering what the latest infuriating change is now..................start listening to your customers, and sack the people messing with what was once a phenomenal product. If it works don't break it!

CIN7 is packed with great features that…

CIN7 is packed with great features that cover almost any need. Thanks to CIN7, our company is growing together, and our customers are also satisfied.
However, system stability is sometimes unstable, and feature updates seem to be quite slow. CIN7 is an incredibly valuable asset to our business, and we hope these issues can be resolved in the near future. Overall, CIN7 has been great for us! Highly recommend it.

Great onboarding, downhill from there

Great onboarding, powerful solution but no customer service. Like zero. We started using it 5 years ago, service was great initially, but is now non existent. It's therefore a pain to work with if there's an issue. Our business continually evolves and so do our needs, but that's virtually impossible with this team.

Charges also increase multiple times a year making it rather expensive. Increase in cost, decrease in service, maximize returns.

It used to be a NZ company but it has been taken over by someone only looking at cutting cost to increase value, quite probably to resell and make a quick buck. DO NOT USE.

The system and the staff is not good if…

The system and the staff is not good if you've used different programs before. The support staff is one of the worst to have been encountered. They take days to reply and rarely address the concerns at hand. After several different issues that have gone unresolved, I've decided to leave a review. Whatever you do, find a different inventory management system. They truly are one of the worst companies on principal alone. And Cin7 is essentially an excel program. Stay away.

System that will help us grow our business

Recently onboarded with Cin7 from TradeGecko closing down and we are now live on the system after a setup period aided by Kshitij. We had a few issues to overcome along the way (as expected these projects), but he was always there to give helpful support and guide us towards going live within our timeframe. Very intuitive system that will help us grow our business to the next level. Thanks Kshitij for all your help!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! Live chat never available. Phone chat you get passed around "to a specialist" then nothing gets solved. Email help even worse, pretty sure they don't even look at their emails. Very hard to use system, no training and no support, terrible company, wouldn't recommend.

Been with CIN7 for over 2 years

Been with CIN7 for over 2 years. Everything looks great from the outside, but its full of bugs, inventory numbers change for no reason - phantom stock appears. We have had an open ticket for over 12 months as our inventory value suddenly had $80k less stock with no knowledge of where or why.
You cannot run a successful business with this software. RUN

Worst Customer Service Ever!

Worst customer service ever, never respond to support ticket or support ticket follow ups, no phone numbers ever answer, all mailboxes are full.
Never ever use this company, don't be fooled by their onboarding, after that you will be completely ignored.
Worst company ever.
Save yourself the pain.

Save your time and money - Avoid

The system itself is OK but as soon as you encounter any difficulty, you are on your own.
Onboarding was great as others have said but once you're actually set up that's when you really need support and it is genuinely terrible. The chat function is never available, the tickets remain unanswered for weeks and then just disappear without resolution.
It's a huge undertaking to implement a new system and I really wish I hadn't ever heard of Cin7. Avoid at all costs

Solid ERP system for early stage companies

Cin7 worked out great for us! In terms of affordability, quality and functionality, it was just right for a start-up/early stage company. The fact that it had in-built EDI, and other out-of-the-box integrations was a big plus. The online customer service can be a bit slow at times, but outside of that we found Cin7 to be robust, and very well integrated with our accounting system. It definitely cut down several hours per month of work, and helped with a single source of the truth.

The most terrible system I ever had to…

The most terrible system I ever had to work with, if there is an issue forget about getting it resolved. No reply from customer service for MONTHS, the support chat is NEVER available! Nothing works properly, so you're being charged to bang your head against the wall. Could go on and on how shi**y this company is but the ammount of bad reviews are doing it for me as everyone seems to to be having the same issue, and the few good ones are clearly staged.

Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. User for over a year and can't wait to get off this platform.
• Features are released that aren't fit for purpose eg B2B website.
• The customer support is the worst we have ever experienced.
• Increased the subscription by nearly $100 per month!! after only a year
This company has no respect for it's customers. If you have a very simple warehouse operation then this overpriced software might work for you, If you need more advanced features eg BOM's, multiple sales channels or just want good customer service then stay away.

I have been with CIN7 since 2015

I have been with CIN7 since 2015, so I am a rather experienced customer.

Here are a few things that are issues with CIN7 so thing long and hard whether you truly wish to enter a long term relationship with someone who only wants your business.
• Cut and pasting how to fixes to problems do not fix problems.
• Problems never addressed and deleted from the que.
• BOM stock consistently changing.
• OMNI is built for the rag trade, any other business gets a rag trade solution.
• Customer service is outsourced to people in different time zones.
• Servers are loaded so much we sit in front of the screen and watch a circle do endless rotations until system reset releases CPU
• Our VPS clocks 40% max yet OMNI servers cannot handle and expected any load.
• Time out errors, ask for error logs, oh no, we do not keep error logs.
• Can I process Paypal, No
• Can I process credit card with any Australian Bank, No.
• Our data base is so bad, it cannot be fixed and we are not allowed to see the problem to fix it.
• No auto flags for customers exceeding their credit limits. We are in 2024 and still being asked to use manual flags.
• B2B is a nightmare with no shipping services pushed to any of the shipping integrators like Starshipit. We dumped B2B and spend $50k building our own website.
This list is actually quite small. Are we changing supplier, yes.

Hung out to dry

Have been a cin7 customer for 6 years with 2 separate accounts and circa $25-30k p/a in fees.

Despite this when a bugs finds it way onto our account we have been told it only effects us and as such they will not be fixing it. (The bug in question related to the most core function of an ERP without and accounting ledger - inventory)

Sad way to burn a long term customer. NetSuite is now looking good and not even more expensive on a subscription comparison.
