Dream, otherwise known as DreamWasTaken is a former competitor in MC Championship. He is well-known for his Manhunt series as well as his involvement on the Dream SMP and collaborations with other content creators.
He joined the tournament in MCC 6. He has won seven times in MCC 8, MCC 11, MCC 15, MCC 16, MCC AS, MCC P22, and MCC 24.
Prior to MCC 28, he announced on a Twitter space, that he would not be participating in any future events, due to rising skill levels (influenced by the release of MCC Island), and not having enough time to practice and keep up his skills in the tournament.[1] However, he still kept running the MCC Training Server's Parkour Warrior course, trying to keep the first place spot in the leaderboard.[2]

- He is roommates with Sapnap and GeorgeNotFound. Sapnap moved in January 2021, while GeorgeNotFound did so in October 2022. Together, they are known as the "Dream Team".
- Before MCC 14's Dodgebolt, he went offline to join Sapnap's room to watch the game, as Sapnap was in Dodgebolt.[3]
- He and Sapnap are the only roommates to have won MCC while teamed together which is MCC 15 and MCC AS. Ironically both times they won they were on Red Rabbits with 2 other Dream SMP members. Every other roommates at the time that teamed either did not make Dodgebolt or lost.
- Before MCC 33's Dodgebolt, Dream texted Sapnap "Good Luck" indicating that he was watching Sapnap's stream during the event.[4]
- He was on the same team as GeorgeNotFound, Sapnap, Tubbo, Karl Jacobs, Awesamdude, and Slimecicle, in their first events. All of them are involved in the Dream SMP.
- He holds the highest unmultiplied score in a single game, scoring 1156 coins in MCC 11's Sky Battle.
- He also attained the record for most Sky Battle kills in a single game, with 17 kills in total.
- He completed the Parkour Warrior course in MCC 8, making him one of the only two players to ever do so, the other being PeteZahHutt.
- He also completed the Parkour Warrior course again in MCC 10 and MCC 11, making him the only player to complete the Parkour Warrior course multiple times.
- He holds the record for fastest completion at 6 minutes and 41 seconds in MCC 8.
- On the practice server, he has the three fastest times on the leaderboard, using his own account and both GeorgeNotFound and TinaKitten's accounts.
- He is the only participant to complete the practice server version in under 5 minutes, with the second best time by Illumina being almost a minute behind Dream's record of 4:36:59.
- Except for MCC 15 and MCC AS where his team finished 1st, all of his Dodgebolt appearances have been on 2nd place teams.
- He did not get hit a single time during MCC 15's Dodgebolt, despite being shot at 15 times. This also happened in MCC AS, where he dodged 8 shots.
- He and Sapnap have never lost a Dodgebolt round together.
- He is the fifth player to fall out of the Dodgebolt arena, doing so in MCC 16.
- It took him 4 games of Dodgebolt to lose for the first time, the longest in the tournament.
- He has been on all pink teams except the Pink Piglets.
- He has been killed by Grian in both MCC 6 and MCC 9's Survival Games, starting a meme about Grian being the "Dreamslayer".
- In MCC 10, the tab teams list displayed Dream's name as "Dre", starting a meme.
- He is one of the few people who does not like wearing team skins. He has said this is due to performing worse in every event where he wore a team skin.
- In MCC 19, because he did not wear a themed skin, he was given a red "shame" sweater, with the words "SHAME" on the front and "GRUMP" on the back. This was also done for Wilbur Soot.
- He is one of three players to feature all three of his laps in the top 5 in Ace Race, which happened during MCC 22. The other two people are Technoblade in MCC 11, and PeteZahHutt in MCC 17.
Wins
- He is the third back-to-back winner (winning MCC 15 and MCC 16), the other three being FalseSymmetry, GeorgeNotFound, and Sapnap.
- He has won every August event he participated in MCC 8, MCC 16, and MCC 24.
- Every time he has teamed with BadBoyHalo, they have won.
