I have bought online gift experiences from several other companies and all have a simple, straightforward boking process. Not Activity Superstore though. I was given a Steam Train and Afternoon Tea experience. But the two things can't happen at the same place. So this is two separate short experiences and not an opportunity to enjoy afternoon tea at an heritage railway. The selection of venues is poor. None of the heritage railways that offer tickets on activity superstore also offer cream teas - so we had to book two separate venues and not on the same day - because none of the bland hotels and pubs offering afternoon tea are anywhere near any of the heritage railways. Then there is the activation code issue that everyone else on here complains about - for the railway, I needed the activation code, but I didn't have it because it isn't obvious this is needed once the experience is booked, so we ended up paying for the tickets - you have to take the hard copy voucher even though the voucher code and booking confirmation is sent by email The afternoon tea, though, has the activation code and the voucher code on the booking email - why the complete inconsistency and complexity? Virgin, Into the Blue, and Land Rover don't make it this hard to use experience vouchers. I can't be bothered to use the afternoon tea voucher as the selection of places to use it, and their menus, are poor. This isn't far off being a scam because the online booking system is clearly designed to make it as difficult as possible to actually use their vouchers.

Great! I give this restaurant a 5/5 stars because the staff are lovely and patient and the aroma is on point. It is my first time here and i don’t think it will be my last either.The food was great and the cheese was so pulley something we all look for in a cheese toastie! The crisps i had with it were great and i don't think they could do any better! Thank you so much for serving me! I’ll never forget it

I first went to Dr Timothy Hinchey a year ago because I was suffering from extreme anxiety and depression because of the death of my sister. I was very happy with Dr Hinchey back then. In May I started feeling very tired and generally unwell and I have been suffering from a very sore knee. Not thinking this would end up so awful I went in and asked for a GP ordered blood test. Dr Hinchey told me to go to any hospital so I chose TUH Dublin because they had the earliest appointment. I was told it would take one to two weeks for the results to be sent to my Doctor. 3 weeks later I went in and was told they had not arrived. I don't know if anyone out there knows what its like to wait for test results but its very stressful! Another two weeks goes by . We are in early July now and I called the office and was told they did not arrive and I should call the hospital. I called and was told the results were sent to Dr Hinchey but they would send them again that day. I called the Doctors office again and was told the same thing they dont have the results and I should call the hospital. I called the hospital and was told that my Doctors office should call and make sure they have the right information for him as they couldn't take my word for it as I am not in his employ. I called the office several times to relay this message and was told I would get a call back which never happened. The last time I called I was crying and the secretary spoke to me very rudely. I finally went in and explained this to the Dr and was met with a rude and curt response saying he doesn't have time to call hopitals and basically made me feel like garbage! Knowing how I suffer from anxiety and depression I found this so surprising! I begged him to call the hospital and he flat refused and told me to do it! I can't update my Doctors information! How did he graduate from medical school? He finally said he would call later that day. That was a week ago. I have been so depressed because of this I have seriously thinking of joining my sister. I have no idea why Dr Hinchey or his secretary couldn't just make a quick phone call and why they are treating me so badly. These people obviously have no empathy or regard for their patients. Stay away from this place. It's a terrible place with people who don't care about you at all! I am looking into taking legal action for pain and suffering and medical negligence as I have been in an awful state because of this.

One evening during the month of May 2021, I bought €90 worth of takeaway cocktails from Mrs Croghs. They come in jars and are very trendy looking. Then we noticed an unopened drink and a spider in it! As you can imagine, we were put off drinking the rest of the order. The next day I made contact with the Facebook page for the establishment and told them what happened, and in fairness someone from management called me that evening. For the purposes of this review, i am going to refer to the two members of management as “management contact 1” and “management contact 2”. Now, I always like to give the benefit of the doubt, so I really appreciated when management contact 1 rang me to apologise and and tell me they were reviewing their process to make sure it won’t happen again. Management contact 1 then offered me a €100 voucher as a thanks. I love when a business tries to make things right with a customer. Fast forward to the 10th of September, and I asked management contact 1 could I avail of the voucher. Management contact 1 informed me he was no longer with the establishment, but that he had spoken with management contact 2 about it and management contact 2 had agreed to honour the voucher. I rang management contact 2. No answer. I text management contact 2. He read it, but didn’t reply. I called into the establishment 3 times asking to be issued with the voucher, and each time I was fobbed off by a member of staff saying there was no one there that could issue it. On Saturday the 23rd of October, I text management contact 2 again, asking for the voucher to be posted out to me. Again, he read it but didn’t respond. Finally, today, the 24th of October, I text again.. and management contact 2 blocked my number! Absolutely disgraceful treatment of a customer. I feel I at least deserved a reply. If he wasn’t going to honour the voucher, he could have text me or called me and said the person that offered you the voucher is no longer here - or something at least!? But no, he didn’t even treat me like a human being. So rude.
