Next, establish a base camp and construct a cooking fire to boil the water you've collected to make it safe to drink. Then it's time to hunt and gather food. Plants and animals may have undergone mutations making it difficult to tell what they once were. But not to worry, they're almost certainly still edible. But remember, always cook your food! Despite your best efforts, at some point, you're going to get hurt. But don't fret. You'll be able to craft old fashion healing salves from foraged plants at your cooking station. These first few days are bound to be challenging! But don't give up! Humans survived through the darkest of ages. And you, dear survivor, are among the best and brightest humanity has to offer.
