A large tank that holds liquids. In this case, you believe that it was designed to store water.— In-game description

Water towers are large storage containers constructed for the purpose of holding a water supply at a height sufficient to pressurize a water distribution system. They are found across the wasteland in the vicinity of pre-War settlements.

Background[]

In 2161 in the Hub, there is a contentious situation regarding the "water tower" complex. Situated south of the Merchant Market, these massive containers hold the majority of the local water supply. Controlled by the Water Merchants who in turn hold a large sway over the politics and economy of the region as the sole mass water providers.[1] This has earned them some bitterness among the populace, who resent them for their power.[2][3]

Characteristics[]

Several large storage tanks are seen with large connecting pipes between them.
