Background[]
In May 2081, Victoria's husband contacted the Responders to report that Victoria and their children had been kidnapped. Upon further investigation, it became clear that Victoria herself was the kidnapper, having taken the children and ran. This was discovered via a note that Mr. Peterson had originally missed. Responder Smith tracked down Victoria, apprehended her, and recovered the children. The Petersons eventually agreed to work out their issues in court at the Charleston Capitol Building, and voluntarily exiled themselves while the children were placed in foster care.[1]
