Hi there![]

FO1 intro Vault Boy

Welcome to the Vault!

Welcome to our Fallout wiki and thank you for your contributions! I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.

A little help to get you started:

  • Recent changes lets you see what other people are editing right this minute and where you can help. You can also check our community portal for things to do.
  • If you haven't already, create a user page about yourself. If you do, we'll be able to know you better as a member of our community.
  • If you have questions, you can ask in our forums, join the live chat in our IRC channel or post a message on my talk page.
  • The help pages can help you learn how to edit and how use the wiki tools. The Vault's policies and guidelines can help you with putting those tools to good use and getting up to speed with our editing customs.

I'm glad to have you here and look forward to working with you!

Fallout 3 bugs article[]

The page is protected so that only autoconfirmed registered users can edit it. It takes four or five days for your registered account to become autoconfirmed. Cheers.--Gothemasticator 18:44, July 13, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Question about Facebook Links[]

I'm not really sure how the "like button" works, but I think it's supposed to display a random image from the page you 'liked'. I just checked and when I click on the button, it usually does that, but sometimes I also get the image of a girl (a user here at the Vault) or a different random image that has nothing to do with the page.

I think this happens when the page doesn't have a good image to display, so the script just picks a random image from the wiki and slaps it on there.

I tried a couple of things to see if this can be fixed, but nothing seems works. I tried refreshing my cache, using a different browser, I even tried 'unliking' a page I liked a couple of months ago and clicking the 'like button' again, but it still displays the same image. So, I guess, the only thing you can do to get rid of the image, is to unlike the page :( --Anon(Talk) 15:44, May 12, 2011 (UTC)

Museum of History[]

I reverted you edits due to over-linking. We usually do not add redundant links in the same section. Thanks!--Kingclyde 05:55, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

If that's so why not go ahead and remove the other redundant links then, the other 2 or 3 identical links above mine which you removed, in the same section btw... I don't think my one extra link mattered enough for you to go and remove it. MrsMcEntire420 23:53, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

I will remove the other links when this page comes up under my project scope, also just because you believe it shouldn't matter enough for me to remove it doesn't make any difference. If I did not revert bad edits or edits that went against policy, I would not be doing my job now would I? Instead of justifying your added links by saying someone else did the same thing after I explained to you that we don't do that, a simple "ok thanks for letting me know" would have been great. I'm not picking on you, I'm helping you become a better editor. That benefits you and The Vault. Oh, also I would not have gotten this response if I wasn't watching your talk page. To respond to something, just leave the response on the person's talk page. Thanks and cheerio!--Kingclyde 01:39, June 13, 2011 (UTC)
