Non-faction quests[]

I don't think there's really any need for such category. Ausir(talk) 02:22, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

Also, the faction-specific categories should be added to Category:Fallout: New Vegas quests. By the way, if you make ones for NCR and Caesar's Legion, they should be game-specific, e.g. "Fallout: New Vegas NCR quests" and "Fallout: New Vegas Caesar's Legion quests", as we have pages for NCR and CL-specific quests from other games (Fallout 2 and Van Buren) as well. Ausir(talk) 02:57, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, I'm new at this and I don't know how to make them into sub-categories, but I'll look through the help section.Confirmed Bachelor 777 03:03, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

You can add superior categories to category pages the same way you add them to article pages. Ausir(talk) 03:12, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you, I thought I might've had to do something different.Confirmed Bachelor 777 04:00, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

Giant ants[]

On the giant ant (Fallout: New Vegas) page, you added that the workers are "A larger and stronger variant of the standard giant ant". However, they certainly are not stronger if the stats are correct, as it looks like they're identical. Are they really larger, or do perhaps "giant ant" and "giant worker ant" differ only by name?

You also added that the queen is "much less powerful and durable than her Fallout 3 counterpart". Looks like she does deal less damage, but she doesn't appear any less durable - she has the same number of hit points in both games. Ausir(talk) 01:34, April 29, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, I thought that I added the sentence "A larger and stronger variant of the standard giant ant" to the soldier ant, I must have added it to the worker by accident.

I had copied and pasted the phrase "much less powerful and durable than her Fallout 3 counterpart" from the Giant ant queen page (You have to scroll down to see the paragraph for the New Vegas variant) and I hadn't noticed that they had the same number of hit points. I'll be sure to look through the stats more thoroughly. Confirmed Bachelor 777 01:56, April 29, 2011 (UTC)

No problem, was just wondering which part was wrong - the stats or the description. :) BTW, according to Kingclyde, the "giant ant" version (identical to worker in all but name), doesn't actually appear in the game, so I removed it. Ausir(talk) 02:06, April 29, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you, :) I was wondering about the "giant ant" variant, because I didn't remember there being another ant variant, besides the queen, soldier, and worker. Confirmed Bachelor 777 02:29, April 29, 2011 (UTC)

Guide[]

Some of the stats from the guide are definitely incorrect, or were correct originally but changed by patches, so I'd prefer the stats to be taken straight from the GECK. Ausir(talk) 21:03, April 29, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for writing (or typing technically) back, I would have wrote back earlier, but I was out running errands. I figured the stats from the guide would be very likely to be incorrect, but I thought I'd ask just to be sure. Confirmed Bachelor 777 23:01, April 29, 2011 (UTC)

Hey dude thanks for helping on one of my edits

You're welcome. :) Overseer 777 00:47, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Fallout: New Vegas NCR characters[]

The category is a duplicate category. I posted it up for deletion. I'll bring it up to the other admins as well but we already have a proper category. For example:Hector Lopez does not need a Category:Fallout: New Vegas mentioned-only NCR characters when he already has a Category:Fallout: New Vegas mentioned-only characters. It's a duplicate. So for now, please hold off on duplicating until we here something from the other admins consensus-wise. Thanks for your edits at The Vault.--Kingclyde 02:34, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, I thought it would be a good idea to add the categories, because, the Category:New California Republic Army characters has both mentioned characters and characters that are actually in the game. I thought if I seperate them into two seperate categories it would make it easier for people to actually see which characters are actually in the game, if they plan on role-playing as an NCR slayer or something like that in the game. If I caused any problems or trouble, I'm sorry, it wasn't my intenntion to cause anyone any problems, I was only trying to help. Overseer 777 02:54, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Here is a better example[]

New California Republic Army characters and Fallout: New Vegas NCR characters are both on 10 of Spades page. They are duplicates in my opinion. The later category is the new one. That is what I was concerned with was overduplication. This example is actually the one I nominated for deletion. Both categories state that they are NCR characters so it's duplicate.--Kingclyde 02:53, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
