The uplink and broken uplink are two miscellaneous quest items in Fallout 76.

This device was put together by Abigayle Singh as part of the Scorched Detection System, created by the Free States to try and create an early warning network against the scorchbeasts and their minions, the Scorched.
Locations[]
The broken uplink is retrieved from the basement of the Pleasant Valley Ski Resort in a raider cache, accessed in the final stages of the quest Key to the Past. During the quest Early Warnings, the broken uplink is repaired at a tinker's workbench and converted into the normal, undamaged uplink.
