Throwing stars are a type throwing weapon in Fallout Extreme.

A throwing star is an ancient Japanese martial arts weapon. Examples of which can occasionally be found in America. It was a type of throwing weapon that could be used by the player character.

Throwing stars are real world weapons, known as shuriken 手裏剣 or "hidden hand blade" originating in Japan as a concealed weapon used to injure, distract, or misdirect.
