A tanned gecko hide is a processed animal skin that can be used by the player character as a bartering item, with a value of 50 caps compared to the 10 caps of an untanned hide. Furthermore, the value of all the ingredients combined is 22 caps, making this 127% more valuable for bartering than the individual ingredients.
With the Honest Hearts add-on installed, it can be used to create various types of armor.
