I find this armour to be very prone to degradation when compared to ordinary Leather Armour. Have other people noticed this or have I just been walking into harder fights? :) --Trithemius 22:38, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
I have the exact same problem with regular Leather Armor. I think it's just that Leather Armor isn't very durable. Also, where did you find it?

It might have something to do with level. I didn't use leather armor until level 10 or so (more for the look than anything), and by then it dropped from 19 DR to 10 DR in one battle with a Talon Merc hit squad. Also for A Wanderer, that's exactly where I found him/her (can be either), nearby is a dual level wooden platform, lower level has dog bowls, top level has a bed and some food/purified water which could be the Wanderer's hideout. It's also the same place others online say you can find the Wanderer, which probably means it isn't a random encounter.
Both this and normal leather armor have same ammount of HP. If you think one is degrading more than a different one its probably because you're either running into heavier fights with the wanderer's armor on, you wear it at higher levels when opponents are stronger or you changed the difficulty setting to a higher one before switching to the wanderer's armor and so your enemies deal more damage. I started a fifth playthrough of NV and looted this off of the Powder Ganger wearing leather armor during Ghost Town Gunfight; this is the first time this has occurred. Can someone check the GECK and find the reliability of this dropping in NV instead of regular leather armor?
I've noted this as well. I found that you can most certainly find the Wanderer's Leather Armor on Alice Hostetler. Certain requirements must be met in order for her to appear namely the quest "Someone to Watch Over Me". It can be obtain by either killing her or reverse pickpocketing a higher Damage Resistance armor on to her. She can be found in the Aerotech Park Suite 300. The armor will have a DR of 6 whilst she is wearing it, upon full repair it has a DR of 12 and gives a +10 to Guns --65.190.151.113 03:06, April 1, 2011 (UTC)The User
