Shouldn't there be a mad man praising this bomb too?--Blahmarrow 23:08, January 4, 2011 (UTC)

ITS THE BIG ONE!!!! THE A-BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Strange thing is that it only allow me to arm it, not disarm. strange indeed.

To what does this refer?[]

Usually, Wild Wasteland things are a reference to something. Is this a reference to something? If so, what?

I think "the One" is a reference to a planet of the apes movie..Where A group of Mutated human's worship a Nuclear Missile..They launch it in at the Ape city in an attempt to exterminate the apes.. It turns out to be an Omega Bomb a super world busting bomb that destroys the entire planet instead of just the ape city..

Yup I think I;m right..Its a reference to the worshiped nuclear missile in "Beneath the Planet of the Apes". Watched it as a teen some late Saturday night on tv in the 80's Surprised I remembered..

Stephen king, the stand?

The reference gets its name from "Beneath the Planet of the Apes", but the visual gag is a reference to Major T.J. "King" Kong's final ride in the movie Dr. Strangelove(or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb).

I take it back, the glowing one spawns alive and not straddling the the bomb.

Buried[]

Should it be noted that this bomb is buried in exactly the same way as the Megaton Bomb?

Megaton's Crater[]

Perhaps I'm not remembering this correctly, but didn't Manya Vargas say that the Megaton crater was actually caused by the crash of a plane, or something like that? It seems like the story was that the plane carrying the bomb crashed and made the crater, and it and planes from a nearby airfield were used to build all the structures. After all, an unexploded bomb shouldn't make a crater like that, or too much of any crater.

One of the Nukes That Was Disarmed by House?[]

Was it one of the 60-odd nukes that were brute-force disarmed by House's defenses?Creeping Death 1982 (talk) 18:29, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
