Talk to Nick (and friend)[]

"Hope you got what you were lookin' for inside my head" Is there any indication that the "mind meld" between Nick, the Sole Survivor, and Kellog's brain McNugget has any ramifications on Nick's behavior after the weird speech Nick makes as Kellogg? Or is that just an empty threat and/or a final middle finger to whoever happens to find and access the Eveready hippocampus? Noobyorkcity (talk) 22:58, January 1, 2016 (UTC)

Solution with mysterious serum[]

!Before your read further - this may result in a spoiler to another mission!

Another possible solution to survive this adventure with ease:

In my playthrough I've first encountered the 'cabot quest' and got about 6 potions of the 'mysterious serum', which grants you rads-10 for about 1 hour. you'll see rads+1 or rads+6 in your heads-up display but it won't affect health and the 'red rad bar' will not increase.

if you enter an area with rads > +10 for a short period of time, your rad poisoness will increase but when leaving to an area with less than +10 rads, the serum will heal your rads (but not your lost health, of course).

imho a very, very easy way to survive this quest ... i took some rad-x on some high rad locations but it wasn't necessary .. i even don't have a rad suit and discovered all locations in the glowing sea ...

Cannot paste an image w/o account but check this url of a screenshot of my char during travel in the glowing sea: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/177163384106111408/7E59148CBF9753D6FEA3FC527392E5CD218A4BCD/ permanent rads +6 but without losing hp

in case i did s/t wrong: steam-user jaffa_geronimo

may the rads be with u ;) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.146.226.42 (talkcontribs) 05:53, January 5, 2017 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
