Fast travel[]
Since installing the Anchorage and Pitt DLC, I can't fast travel to the Robot Repair Center without the game crashing, and the game crashes even when I try to approach on foot from Canterbury Commons. Has anyone else had this problem? I have yet to try entering the area without the gauss rifle, winterized T-51B armor, Chinese stealth armor, and infiltrator in my inventory, and I suppose that might make a difference, if the DLC is involved somehow. --68.230.193.17 22:04, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
I found a motorcycle gas tank wedged under the broken protectron next to the shelves in the mechanists forge. Is this a random generation or fixed? --Dreaming Chimera 13:18, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
- If it was lying under the Protectron, as in not in a container, it's probably not random. As far as I know, all loot that isn't in any sort of container is fixed.--Mehbah 13:34, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
Get Smart?[]
I'm pretty sure it's a reference to MST3K. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Get Smart didn't really have gimmicky doors, did it? I mean the weirdest they got is that telephone booth at the end, which isn't really reflected in The Mechanist's door. 70.75.169.248 19:09, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
I agree completely. While GetSmart may have done the door gag first, this sequence would seem to be MUCH more reminiscent of the doors from Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Mystery science theater 3000 used that sequence from get smart, get smart the tv show, and the movie both had sequences with the whacky 50 or so doors they had to go through.98.215.69.173 08:27, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Releaseing Protectrons From repair pens[]
Does any one know if there is a point to this? there are 4-5 protectrons in repair pens in the repair area 2 of which you can release and 2 of which that will die when released, the released protectrons walk out and fall of the top floor landing and walk to the first room and stand on what looks to be showroom pads...I cannot find a reason for this and when i kill them i cannot search them.98.215.69.173 08:29, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Unable to aim freely[]
When I enter the Mechanist's Forge(Xbox360) the aim gets stuck, but the right sticks works properly on the Pipboy maps.
Tame Giant Radscorpion?[]
When I first found this spot, there were two Wastelanders under attack by a Giant radscorpion. I killed it but only after it had killed one of the Wastelanders. Then I spoke to the survivor. He said "Take the water. You've earned it." There WAS some Purified Water in a refrigerator standing in front of the building. Now every time I return, the Giant Radscorpion is sitting peacefully behind the refrigerator. He shows as an enemy, but he doesn't attack unless I attack first. What's more, even my follower (RL-3) doesn't attack him. Also, I can rest or fast travel away while he still alive and just sitting there. Once when I fast traveled to this location, Joe Porter from Canterbury Commons was sleeping on the ground next to him, in front of the refrigerator. Weird! Glendale1 01:40, December 7, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, the Behind The Scenes section needs to go... they arent actual references...
Bug section[]
Hi, I added this bug a long time ago:
"Sometimes, when trying to get in the Mechanist's Forge via the secret door, only the first part will unlock (i.e., the sliding door). The rest won't budge and the only way to reach it is to lockpick the (hard) elevator."
It has since been removed, but it has happened to me. Furthermore, it keeps happening to me (now in third playthrough (PS3), happened in two of them). 80.126.250.167 17:57, November 15, 2010 (UTC)

I P:ut this as my new "House" and I mean the WHOLE of Robot Repair Center, downstairs is the Kitchen (The place where the 2nd Sentry Bot Was) But I'm wondering is it Safe to stor your goods here... Plz respond? anyone?
