What the hell? Where does it say his name is "Reginald"? Nitpicker of the Wastes 21:48, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

The Prima Guide I'm guessing. It seems to be editors reference link immediately after the name. I can't verify as I would never waste my cashola on a fucking Prima Guide when I have access to this almighty wiki. V.A.T.S. addict 21:56, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
You know, you've got the right idea. About the guides, not the name. I bought one once. Word to the wise: never buy one. Even if there is no wiki. They are not worth it. Nitpicker of the Wastes 22:00, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
I dont know i bought it for thi game before i knew about this wiki, and for 20 bucks the sheer thoroughness of the guide was worth it.Dtemps123 23:51, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Iv'e hung around there for a long time and travelled everywhere to locate this dude to no avail.

Rothchild has vanished![]

I recently went back to the Citadel to turn in some Cameras to Rothchild, but he disappeared! I waited several hours in the Citadel, checking everywhere in 2 hour intervals and he is nowhere to be found. Has this happened to anyone else? 71.97.77.46 18:00, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

It happened to me too, i just decided to head to little lamplight on my own

The same thing happened to my friend except it was in the middle of Shock Value and the quest marker had told him to go to the citadel then out over west of Bethesda Ruins.--Master of cheeZ 02:14, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

It may be related to the Broken Steel DLC. I noticed upon my return to the Citadel at the end of Shock Value that he was nowhere to be found. Upon completion of the quest Who Dares Wins, I again went searching the lab for him with no luck. Upon exiting to the courtyard again, I found Rothchild simply walking towards the doorway. Perhaps there is some sort of script that sends him on a trip away from the Citadel? Makayo 15:07, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

My Rothchild went missing sometime after Broken Steel while I was collecting cameras.

Finding Rothchild after He's Vanished (Consoles)[]

For me, Rothchild had vanished and I was ~110+ hrs into the game (I like exploring). I tried talking to Mayor MacCready but no matter what I did (even after buying Broken Steel and obtaining the child at heart perk) he didn't give me an option to enter Vault 87. I finally came across this: http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=913052 which details a way to glitch (clip) out of The Citadel and locate Rothchild, then you can punch him and chase him back in the right direction. He'll eventually clip back inside The Citadel and after you re-enter correctly (via the ladder section that you clip out from), wait a bit then you can talk to him as if nothing happened. Phew! Hope that helps someone! 203.217.33.144 05:26, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

Cant start broken steel quest[]

for some strange reason Rothchild doesn't walk too the map like hes suposed too at the start of death from above he just walks in another direction. Any idea why?

Last Name in Lonesome Road[]

The terminal in the Wastewater Treatment Plant has an e-mail from someone named Rothchild (presumably the main operator of the plant). Anyone think this could be an ancestor of Scribe Rothchild? Ganondorf 22:50, September 22, 2011 (UTC)

No. --Kastera (talk) 00:22, September 23, 2011 (UTC)

"They have fallen on hard times."[]

Under notes it says "Rothchild makes a mention to the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel, saying that they have fallen on hard times"

Just wondering where is says that.
