Appropriate naming[]
The names of most Legionaries follows the conventions of the Roman army, but not the recruits.
Technically, they should be named tiros, the Latin for new soldier or untrained recruit.
The alternate spelling, tyro, is used in modern English to refer to a beginner or newb.
