In benefits, it says 50% more damage to deathclaws. Who's mad enough to run up to a deathclaw & punch it.--BLACK LENNY 00:12, October 12, 2010 (UTC)

Make a Chuck Norris character, with super high health, damage resistance and Unarmed. Or leave them low and kill them with it anyway if you ARE Chuck Norris. TJbrena 19:43, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

has anyone determined if the 50% is calculated before or after and damage modifiers (such as psycho or crit) based on the wording, it does sound like after, but id like not to assume.

Some melee weapons are extremely powerful, especially the thermic lance or chainsaw which can (in theory) kill the legendary deathclaw in under 3 seconds. Also since different food types stack for powerful, constant regeneration it's fairly easy to replicate the Rad Child perk with the right foods (can actually get higher regeneration from different foods stacking than using the perk). Dude. You don't run up to the Deathclaw and punch it. You try to snipe it, and failing to kill it, you hold your position with a Ballistic Fist or Oh Baby! Epsilon616 02:20, December 22, 2010 (UTC)

You sure can, especially with Turbo running. Mictlantecuhtli 02:27, December 22, 2010 (UTC)

I'm playing a Unarmed/Melee build and this perk helps A LOT against deathclaws. If you have a high melee/unarmed skill (75 or higher), super slam and piercing strike you MOWN DOWN the deathclwas in Quarry Junction with Knock-Knock/Pushy. If you use Pushy and do a uppercut or Knock-Knock and do a backslash with this perks + purifier, there's a very high chance that you will knock down the deathclaw, including the Alpha Male and Mother. With Oh, Baby! is pure cowardice, they drop like flies. It's only a matter of strategy and planning, there's no "you only kill deathclaws with guns". I was in level 17, BTW. And yes, you WILL receive damage, so plan wise. Brfritos 22:55, December 25, 2010 (UTC)
