Seriously Obsidian?[]
Has anyone noticed that Obsidian is basically flipping off Bethesda? FO3 had a lot of respect and reverence for the previous games, Obsidian (Which is made up largely of the team the developed the original FO games) however does not have the courtesy to return that respect. They are removing most of Bethesda's changes, avoiding as much reference to FO3 as possible, practically pretending it never happened, setting it back in the West Coast, the same location as previous games, to avoid any contact with FO3's characters or setting, and yet they go back and reference the hell out of their own games, then they take credit for a game game using the engines, graphics, models, and gameplay, designed by Bethesda. Obsidian is really acting rather unprofessionally, for such a great company, that has produced many great games. Seriously guys, show a bit of respect for Bethesda, without them you'd never have been able to come with reach of the franchise again, and you repay them by basically attempting to undermine everything they accomplished with Fallout 3. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.226.83.2 (talk • contribs). - By doing that, they are paying respect to Bethesda. Like Josh Sawyer said, they didn't want to do anything with East Coast or anything that is connected to FO3 in FNV, because they feel it is Bethesda's part of Fallout lore. Because of that, they are going for the West Coast, which is, mostly, Obsidian's part of the lore. When it comes to gameplay changes from FO3, most of them are good and in good will.

- There are not many references to Fallout 3 simply because of the geographical distance between the Capital Wasteland and the Mojave Wasteland. Vegas is pretty close to the locations in FO1 and 2 so it's natural that there will be more references to them than to FO3. Besides, it's Bethesda that is publishing Fallout: New Vegas. Uh, all the page says is "Bow chika wow wow". It was edited three or so minutes ago by an annoynmous user... Apoligies if this isn't how you're supposed to report vandalism.
