When you go here while exploring early it says you must get power to nuka-cola world before you can access the workshop, however you can do it right after completing "open season" if, like me, you hate raider scum. Dragonalumni (talk)
Requirements[]
The "Restore Power to Nuke World" quest popped up in my misc section as soon as I started Open Season. (Not when I was given the quest, but when I actually started shooting raiders and the whole park turns hostile.) As such, it may be possible to go turn on the power and claim this as a settlement before finishing Open Season. I didn't think of it in time to test it, but maybe someone has a save file close enough to that point in the quest to try it. 71.83.196.170 01:27, December 19, 2016 (UTC)
Random Attacks[]
I completed Open Season and established a standard settlement here and after several days of gameplay I have yet to have it come under a random attack. I'm going to lower my defenses and plant extra crops and water purifiers and see what happens, but I think it may just be an oversight in the programming.
