Noteable Loot and Pre-War Book[]

I re-vamped the notable Items section as it was incomprehensible. I broke apart the different items based on which rooms/locations they were in, and took out the references to the player's guide (room #6??? What??).

I couldn't find the fifth Pre-War Book, so I left a reference to this page. Allegedly it's on the top shelf of a book case in the National Archives "in room #6?". If anyone has the player's guide maybe they can decipher what that refers too.

It's standing on its edge right next to the side of the bookcase and so can be difficult to see.

Pre-war book 5[]

I found it. It's on the eastern wall of the south-western most room. There are six book shelves joined together standing up against a wall.

I found it. It's on the eastern wall of the south-western most room. There are six book shelves joined together standing up against a wall. Yes it's standing straight and hard to see

Giant glitch?[]

I'm running the PC version, and ran into a pretty large glitch, it seems. Any time that you exit the National Archives (back to the Mall for sure, and I think when zoning within the building as well), many of the containers within this building re-fill themselves.

I thought at first I was missing things and/or going crazy, but after some testing I've confirmed the containers refilling. I'm not sure if they refill with random loot or the same. A lot of it is junk (cups, clipboards) but a great many of the desks & cabinets contain a few caps each and rare-ish ammo (Magnum, for one). So that all adds up for us scavenger types :)

Has anyone else had this happen, and if so, can someone please add it to the main article? 76.177.42.68 06:58, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

The Nuka-Cola Quantums[]

Those Quantums should be removed from the notable loot under "National Archives" as they are random, and whoever got them got lucky. I'd fix it myself but I'm on Firefox and have javascript disabled.

Mislabeled Super Mutant Overlord[]

During the battle in the Rotunda, a Super Mutant Overlord came in with the second wave wielding a Chinese Assault Rifle. However, when aimed at and in V.A.T.S., he was labeled only as "Super Mutant". His appearance and the amount of health he had made it clear that he was, in fact an Overlord.

I've seen this mentioned on a couple other pages, but wasn't sure how or if it should be added to main article; as such, I'll leave it here and let someone with a bit more experience decide. This is on Xbox 360, Broken Steel installed (obviously), and a level 27 character. Thanks. metalheadHippie "It is not when or where men are born, but what they do that makes them brothers."
