Help with a song[]
I heard a song from this radio and I can't figure out what it is. The vocals sound somewhat like Bob Dylan, but overall the song has more of a country sound. The only lyrics I've actually been able to decipher are "I don't want to argue or shout" and "They know what I'm talkin' about". Not exclusively country?[]
I made an edit recently saying this radio station is exclusively country, but hen about 3 hours after my edit, it was taken out. The edit summary was "Undo - No, it's not exclusively country music. Not by a long shot." Am I wrong? This stations appears to play nothing but country. Kastera 23:47, February 23, 2011 (UTC)
- It's a Sin To Tell A Lie and Johnny Guitar are not remotely country, and I wouldn't consider the instrumentals country, though it's arguable; Bert Whedon was pretty clearly a Duane Eddy/Link Wray imitator and everyone considered those guys rock 'n roll. Weedon himself certainly didn't consider himself a country artist. Back in the 50's the dividing line between rock 'n' roll and country was a little more fluid. Perhaps it was wrong to say "not by a long shot," since most of the music is clearly country music. Lone Wolf Radio?[]
The name, the amount of apparently-working equipment, and the radio in the same location playing this station without a DJ and on loop would seem to infer that Lone Wolf Radio to be the source of the broadcast. 75.0.10.180 06:12, July 25, 2012 (UTC)
