Background[]
This mission was to take place after the death of the Lone Wanderer and Sentinel Lyons. It would have basically been both of them being transported to the Hollow Earth / Contubernia after their deaths after the purifier exploded. The reason only Lyons or the player character could start the purifier originally in the base game rather than a companion was to throw the God-Devil maze on them. Last Rites would have basically been the two of them dying and going to the Contubernia after death in pitch blackness and being assaulted and tortured by chickens and all sorts of animals.
