Teleports to Black Mountain[]
Prior to doing the Crazy, Crazy, Crazy Mission Jack teleported to Black Mountain after I gave Janet the Boomer outfit. I have no clue why. I ventured there and on accident solved the quest before ever getting it since I climed the mountain from the wrong side never meeting Neil. I repaired Tabithas robot, solved the quest and all of a sudden Jack and Janet walked out of the prison building I guess as if nothing ever happend. I don't know if they where captured there or if it was a very strange bug.
Inaccessible Hill[]
Is there any way on consoles to get to Jack after he teleports to that unaccessible hill?
Limit to Scrap Metal?[]
I see the page says you can give him 50 to reach idolized status, but I'm not interested in that. What I'm really wondering is if their is a limit to the amount of Scrap Metal you can give him, similar to the limited amount of Rad-Away, Med-X, and Fixer you can give Julie Farkas for the Followers. Where I'm getting at with this is that if this limit does exist, and you reach it, would Jack possibly give you some kind of bonus for doing so? Similar to the way Julie Farkas will give you discounted medical supplies and skill magazines if you give her enough items. In testing, it seems limitless. I was able to give him 66 pieces of Scrap Metal and he was still asking for more. But finally, the other reason I believe their is a limit and possibly a bonus for turning in Scrap Metal is because of all the patches that already fixed scripting issues. If it's only purpose was to reach idolized status, but he still takes Scrap Metal anyway, I would consider that a fairly high-concern scripting issue (considering it can be used in other things like Weapon Repair Kits). And since their has been a couple of patches already, I would just find it hard to believe they haven't fixed it yet if it is broken. --69.205.180.81 03:48, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
it is literally just a simple way to gain boomer fame and is limitless. the reason being is that the boomers are essential to the story line and if you can't get the favor from pearl it makes progression impossible for certain endings. i don't see what that has to do with anything else like weapon repair kits. it still makes sense that if he wanted it in the first place he'd still except more. why fix this when he disappears half the time and they don't fix that?--64.126.90.132 08:52, November 6, 2011 (UTC)
